For three Novembers in the past 8 years I've been blind in both eyes for 3 weeks.
Spending the past two Novembers (2004 & 2005) blind confirms the progression of an unknown illness. Thought to be Optic Neuritis of unknown cause.
This past January brought another 3 weeks of blindness, the progression is evident.
The diagnosis April 7 is a rare neurological disease known as Devics.
A special bloodtest, recently developed at Mayo Clinic, confirmed Devic's Disease.
